Tui Fledgling

Description

A young tui fledgling perches on a branch while waiting for the parent bird to feed it. The young bird is fully feathered and is beginning to show some colour in the wing feathers. It still has a bright yellow trim to the edges of the beak and does not yet have the characteristic throat feathers of the adult tui. The feathers are beaded with raindrops.
