Stratified Limestone Rock Formations at Kaikoura

Stratified limestone rock formations off the coast of Kaikoura, New Zealand. The rocks have been forced upwards into wave-like formations with folds between the layers. Vegetation clings to tops of some of the rocks. There are different, flatter rock formations in the foreground. A seal can be seen in the water channel between the rock formations.
