Golden Light at Dawn

The sky is lit with golden light just before sunrise over Pauatahanui Inlet near Porirua. Homes can be seen lining the hills on the far side of the inlet. The tide is low, exposing the sandbanks in the inlet. There are a few boats moored in the deeper channel near the far-side banks.
