Waves breaking on rocks at entrance to Marlborough Sounds

Waves break against the steep rocks at the entrance to the Marlborough Sounds from the Cook Strait between the North and South Islands of New Zealand. The fractured rock stacks are sheer and are inhabited by sea birds, which nest out of reach of the ocean.
