Monarch Butterfly Pushes out of Chrysalis

Description

A monarch butterfly pushes the front of the enclosing chrysalis away with its long proboscis and legs as it begins to emerge. The antennae are folded forwards and the labial palps and eyes are clearly visible. The chrysalis has split up the back and the wings are still tightly constrained by the transparent shell.
