Monarch butterfly fully out of chrysalis

Description

A monarch butterfly clings to a plant stem next to the empty chrysalis. The legs, abdomen, thorax and head can be seen as can the eyes, antennae and proboscis. The wings are still crumpled and meconium is pumped through the wings to fill them out.
