Pied Stilt at Dusk

A pied stilt stands in the shallow waters of the Pauatahanui Wetland Reserve at dusk. The setting sun has highlighted the water and weeds, creating different patterns which disturb the reflection of the wading bird. A paradise duck can be seen at the far left of the view a it moves towards the reed covered island in the background.
