Mallard Duck in Flight

A single mallard duck flies over the water at Waikanae Estuary on the Kapiti Coast. The duck in flying low over the water, so the wingtips are just above the water surface. The duck has its neck stretched out and legs tucked up behind. The coloured wing feathers are displayed on the downward sweep of the wings.
