Puffin on Inner Farne Island

Description

A puffin, in breeding colours, stands on Inner Farne Island off Seahouses in Northumberland. The brightly coloured beak is clearly visible, as is the orange ring around the eye and the patch of yellow skin at the mouth edge. Apart from these and the orange legs, the bird is black and white. It is standing in a patch of soil surrounded by vegetation, and is near one of the burrows, which is out of shot.
